Welcome to the website for Chris Judah-Lauder, National Conference Chair for the 2017 American Orff-Schulwerk Conference in Fort Worth, Texas: Nov 9-12, 2017. This web site is intended to provide a link to her professional music and events, including some past Good Shepherd Episcopal School music sharings, programs & video snippets.

Chris is the author of eighteen publications and is an active clinician for in-service staff developments, Orff Level Courses, Orff Schulwerk Chapters, State and National Conferences, and School Districts throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Chris has 40yrs of experience in public and private schools and is currently consulting for several Title I Schools in Texas. Chris has recently retired after 31 years of teaching energetic and talented middle school musicians at the Good Shepherd Episcopal School in Dallas, Texas where she directed four select music ensembles: Orff Select, Recorder, Praise Band and D.R.U.M.

What's Happening

The 2017 AOSA Professional Development Conference will take place in Fort Worth, Texas from Nov 9-12, 2017. Chris Judah-Lauder and Karen Benson are thrilled to be the National Conference Chairs for this exciting conference.

Chris will be presenting for the Alberta Orff Chapter on September 30th, 2017 and will be a featured presenter for the Carl Orff-Cascade-2018 Conference in Niagara Falls to be held on April 19-21, 2018. She will also teach several Orff Level III courses this summer at Trinity University in San Antonio and North Dakota, as well as an Orff Master Class at Baker University in Kansas. And finally, two new publications will be on the shelf in mid April: Drum with a Passion (Beatin’ Path Publications) and Games, Groups & Gems (Heritage Music Press).
