Chris Judah-Lauder taught elementary and middle school music in public and private schools for 41 years and especially enjoyed directing her middle school music ensembles: Orff Select, Recorder, Praise Band, and D.R.U.M. “Retired”, she enjoys gardening, water activities and working as a music consultant for title one schools in the classroom/online.

She is a regular presenter at state, national conferences, Canada, China and South Korea. She is a Past President of AOSA; served as the 2009 and 2017 National Conference Chair and Chair of AOSA’s PLIII Committee. Chris teaches AOSA Teacher Education Levels courses at various universities, has sixteen publications including Drum with a Passion; Games, Groups, and Gems; Fun with Boomwhackers; Hand Drums on the Move; Recorder Games.

What's Happening

Like everyone else, many of her 2020 workshops have been rescheduled due to Covid-19. The schedule will be updated in the near future. Chris will be a featured virtual presenter for the Montana Music Educators Association on Oct 15-16, 2020, and will present virtually at the AOSA Symposium on Nov, 13-14, 2020, and the International Sunday Sharing USA on October 18, 2020.
